Today I was mainly making a mountain out of rubbish, brought in by all of the children of Shelthorpe Primary, Loughborough. Built around old wire fencing from my shed and my studio, and therefore fitting in with the recycling theme of what they call GREEN DAY. The whole school, I believe, pursue all topics GREEN. I never stopped working all day. Having introduced myself in assembly I got stuck in and continued through breaktime and lunchtime. The finished piece actually looks better in reality than it does on the photo, which is a rare thing isnt it. Made contact with a teaching advisor who is looking to do more of this kind of work in the school so, fingers crossed.
Im now exhausted. Happy day.

FEB BLOG END
