Starting with the POTATO BIRD. My Mum found this potato and just had to add to it a tail and a beak! And yes, it really does look like a bird. "Will be a shame to eat it" she said (but of course she will). And she always says she has no artistry in her soul...........I beg to differ.
Whilst on the painting side................................this painting is now FINISHED ! the title is "Maid being seduced by a chair" and its oil on canvas. £392 plus delivery, should anyone want to own it?............................................... I wont hold my breath, then. Lol. With the weather turning cold Im having to force myself out of the door, so the studio seems such a long way off. Im thinking I should seek somewhere nearer home or even buy a very large shed to use as a studio in my garden. Dont know what to do just yet. Plus, have you seen your home energy bill lately? In February I was paying £61 per month; this month they took £114 off me and during the summer there was no central heating on!! thats almost double !! We all have to do something about this, but Im not sure what really.
In the meantime, love all , hurt none, and allow expression to the peace which resided within.
