I am part way through my latest painting. I am being comfortable with a style of painting which takes me back several years, long before art education, and I am feeling goooood about it. All that rubbish I put myself through and I wind up returning to what I am, actually, quite good at. I suppose I needed to experiment and I gained that honours degree in the end so it wasnt wasted time, just time spent. Having gone through it, cant go back, so must go forward into the past, but with more skills now and perhaps better ideas.the paper catalogue, compiled by Rick and Guy of KLA, becomes a video.
