STROKE

Last weekend the other half of my sky looked really awful. 2.00 a.m. she woke in great pain, and numbness in her left arm, leg and face. I called 999 and the paramedic who lives next door attended her (how embarrasing). She was then taken off to hospital in the ambulance. After a lot of physical testing the doctor allowed her home. Her last words to my wife were, "Have you had a stroke before?". This puzzled us. The doctor, up to that point, had only discussed Agnes' history of fibromyalgia. Anyway, a few days later and she is almost right as rain, no pains at all, not even her usual aches. She looks quite spritely in fact. Then she bumps into our paramedic neighbour, chats, and he says, "But Agnes, you were having a stroke!". So why did nobody tell us that at the time? It would be so much better to not be left in limbo. Anyway, no extra medications prescribed over this, but just three days prior she was put on beta blockers due to extremely high blood pressure. I just wonder if it is all linked together. Well, its all fine now, thankfully so......................... remember to love all and hurt none, even when it gets really hard to do so. Life is a long game not a short one.
