Well, already I have failed in my challenge as the tryptich is not going well. It looks almost completed yet at the same time it looks like its laboured, not living, too much like a postcard. So its back to the drawing board !! Come back next week to see how, or if, it has changed.
I did a few brushstrokes on other bad paintings in my home studio yesterday and, oh, it felt soooo good. Dont ever let anyone tell you that producing art isnt therapy. Of course it is ! Im miserable without it, although of course, when the piece isnt working that also makes me miserable............but I know that it will get better eventually. So Im confident that this particular piece will eventually be so much better.
