CAN YOU TELL WHAT IT IS YET? hahahahaha

Well, the snow came with a vengeance didnt it but waste not want not. Any opportunity to be creative. After earning my daily crust I couldnt wait to get into the garden and make art with snow. Of course the furry angel who is Molly was having none of it if she could help it, lol. But I managed to make something. Can you see what it is yet? as Rolf is famed for saying. Its hard to see white against white and its not the best sculpture Ive ever done but it gave me some satisfaction and , who knows, it may have an effect on me , us, as it stands in the back garden.
It is meant to be Ganesha. You can just about make out his ears and trunk.
And this is the result of Molly helping me in the snow!
KLA news. The auction will be happening in four weeks (I think). Fingers crossed on that.
Going to the ballet on Sunday. (whenever I hear music I see people dancing, moving etc . I have so many ideas that involve movement, drama, visual art and film, all locked up together. In the next life I will be very busy I think, but I hope I can achieve some of these ideas in this lifetime eventually.
Well, got to go.

ANOTHER HEARTBEAT

A little bundle of joy just entered our lives! Found in an animal rescue centre, just 18 months old and absolutely lovely. Already, after just a few hours in her new home she has changed the atmosphere. She has brought joy into the house.
Her name is Molly and she has an illformed eyelid so that it never really closes properly. Consequently the eye is always red and needs wiping a lot, but she is just lovely. I think she needs us as much as we need her.
I dont want to bore you all though so I wont go on about her and, yes I know, she has nothing to do with my ARTBEAT, but she has everything to do with my HEARTBEAT! But then again, if ART comes from the HEART then maybe she will have everything to do with it.
The college was closed today due to the weather so I didnt get to run my art class and I missed it, and the kids, so much. You know what? Im amazing with these kids, if I do say so myself. I didnt realise I had so much empathy and patience. My friend Dianne says she is not surprised as she KNEW I had these qualities! Well, now I know too and I want more of it. So raise your glasses to the future, "To the unknown frontier"!!
