MISTER MASTER

O.K. I wasnt going to say anything but I have been offered a place on the Fine Art Masters programme at Leicester's DeMontfort University and Im excited, concerned about funding it, but want to get started on it already! At least four of us on the degree course have been offered a place including , today, Shilpa Surani , so I just had to say something here.

Im not making art at the moment. I have painted my edges, screwed in my mirrorplates and cant do anything more for another week! so frustrating!

Well, Ive told you now, so if anyone out there in the art-ether knows of how to fund an M.A. without breaking my personal bank, I would be sooooo grateful ! lol.

I took the tryptich down today so that definitely marks closure. Im not happy with it, although I think that perhaps the two panels centre and right could be used. The left panel,apart from the female nude which Im rather pleased with, is a disaster and irretreivable. This panel will almost certainly be painted over and re-cycled sometime in the future. Its a funny time of year right now. My degree programme is coming to its conclusion and so my mind is more active over degree show preparations than with what project to start next, although I am actively preparing ideas for my Masters programme,which starts in September 2008. My degree show work is now all tidied up and awaiting mirrorplating, which will get done on Tuesday and then I will have nothing to do until the clear up and the actual hanging! I cant believe that three years have passed so quickly. Best wishes to anyone else about to hang their degree shows , Im sure we will all fare well!
